Price offers for dairy products in Ukrainian stores
Most Ukrainians regularly buy dairy products, which are an important source of nutrients. The cost of dairy products always matters greatly for the family budget.
Journalists from 'Hvylya' conducted a study on price offers for popular cheese brands in the largest retail chains in Ukraine, such as 'Metro', 'Megamarket', 'Novus', and 'Auchan'. According to their data, the prices for hard cheese show an interesting dynamic.
Zweni Hora Dutch 45% in 'Metro' costs 587.60 UAH per kilogram, while in 'Megamarket' it is 452.20 UAH. On average, the price for this cheese is 519.90 UAH. At the same time, in May 2025, the average price for this product was 551.20 UAH.
Also, in 'Novus', a smaller package of the same cheese weighing 285 grams cost 149.00 UAH in May, which is 46.80 UAH cheaper than in April of the same year.
Prices for 'Como traditional 50%' cheese have also changed. In May, a kilogram of this product costs 589.00 UAH in 'Novus', 519.00 UAH in 'Auchan', and 532.50 UAH in 'Megamarket'. The average price for this cheese is 546.83 UAH. In April 2025, it was 529.31 UAH, indicating a price increase.
Thus, price offers for dairy products vary, affecting the family budget of consumers.
