Fatal accident near the border with Poland: one woman dead, five injured.
According to ТСН: On Sunday near Krakovets in the Lviv region, bordering Poland, a fatal road accident occurred. The road has been closed.
According to the patrol police of the Lviv region, the accident happened "at 67 km + 700 m of the M-10 Lviv-Krakovets road, near the settlement of Krakovets." Currently, special services are working at the scene, and the law enforcement agencies have organized a detour via a gas station.
Accident details near the border
The police clarified that a Mercedes-Benz minibus collided with a truck.
As a result of the collision, a 34-year-old female passenger of the minibus died at the scene. Five other individuals, aged between 18 and 61, who were in the cabin, sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the road traffic accident under the article "violation of road safety rules." The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years, as well as a possible deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years or without such.

In addition, it became known that in Finland, a bus with Ukrainians went off the road. According to law enforcement, the bus entered the junction at too high a speed. Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the incident and clarifying the details.
This tragic event highlights the importance of adhering to road traffic rules, especially in such busy sections of the road. Law enforcement agencies continue to work on the investigation to determine all the circumstances of the accident and prevent similar cases in the future.
