Mystery Drone Grounds Air Force One Departure with Trump Aboard.
Drone Incident Disrupts Air Force One Takeoff
According to TSN.ua: On March 29, the departure of the presidential aircraft Air Force One was halted in Florida after an unidentified drone flew dangerously close to the plane. U.S. President Donald Trump was on board at the time. The drone’s proximity forced a complete stop to the takeoff procedure.
Helicopters were quickly deployed to the scene to secure the area, and the airport also imposed a landing ban. This incident has raised fresh safety concerns, especially following a similar event last November when an F-16 fighter jet intercepted a civilian aircraft over Palm Beach.
Nick Sortor urged: 'Pray for the safety of the 47th every day.'
This drone encounter during Air Force One’s takeoff highlights the growing security risks facing top U.S. officials, particularly the president. It has alarmed law enforcement and protective services, especially given recent military aircraft intercepts of civilian planes. Ensuring presidential safety remains a top priority, and such events underscore the urgent need for stricter airspace control around official flight operations.
