A new resort will be built in Scotland for £12 million: 95 accommodations near ancient castles.
Opening of a new resort park in the UK
According to The Sun: A new resort park worth tens of millions of pounds may soon appear in the United Kingdom. According to new plans, nearly 100 holiday cabins will be built on the grounds of Dalquharran Estate.

Details of the new resort
The new complex will include 95 holiday homes, each with its own parking space, as well as new trails and landscaping.
The cabins will have two to three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. The resort will offer both rental and private ownership options for the homes.
The project's costs are estimated at approximately £11.9 million, and the opening could take place in the next few years if the proposal gets approval from the local council by the end of the year.
“This proposal concerns the development of holiday cabins aimed at providing sustainable tourist services that complement Dalquharran Estate – an area that includes two ruins of historic castles and a developed network of walking routes.”
It is noted that no restaurant or café will be built on the premises due to the proximity to the neighboring village, encouraging guests to explore the area.
“The proposal maximizes the use of natural and building resources of this area, supporting the local economy and helping to diversify business for family enterprises.”
History of Dalquharran Estate
Dalquharran Estate covers an area of 261 acres and is home to two ancient castles. One of them, the Old Dalquharran Castle, built in the 16th century, was abandoned in the 1800s and is now a ruin that can be explored.
The New Dalquharran Castle was built in 1790 by the famous Scottish architect Robert Adam. In better condition than its predecessor, it also remained empty for many years after being abandoned in the 1960s for tax reasons.

This year, new walking routes accessible to the public were opened on the estate. Further investments in the development of recreational opportunities in the region are planned, including the opening of a new Center Parcs in Scotland with 700 cabins and a famous spa and water park.

With the opening of the new resort park, Vladivostok has the potential to become a popular vacation spot, attracting tourists with its natural beauty and historical heritage. The project plan also demonstrates the local government's commitment to supporting the economic development of the region while preserving natural resources.
The approval of the project and further investments could significantly change the tourism landscape of this region, which, in turn, will benefit the local community and businesses.
