A night bus with beds is launching in Europe: how the first route will work.
According to The Sun: In November, tourists will have the opportunity to try out the new European night bus Twiliner with sleeping berths.
Twiliner will launch two routes that cover eight European cities, offering comfort at an affordable price.
The first route will run from Zurich to Amsterdam through several cities, while the second will travel from Zurich to Barcelona via Girona.
Initially, the buses will operate several times a week, but the operator plans to ensure daily service in the future.
The operator's goal is to expand the network of bus routes across Europe, covering 30 destinations within three years.
Traveling on night buses or 'sleeping buses' in Asia is usually a budget-friendly way to get around. Passengers can recline the seats to almost flat positions, similar to Twiliner, and in some cases, can choose 'VIP cabins' with curtains for greater privacy.
For example, travelers often use buses in Thailand, where prices can be as low as £15 for a journey. One popular route is between Chiang Mai – the largest city in Northern Thailand – and Bangkok, which are about 700 km apart.
Night buses have already become a popular mode of transport in Asia, where passengers can travel long distances comfortably and cheaply.
