According to Novyny.live: In the early hours of July 2, 2023, a coordinated assault involving drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles struck Kyiv, leaving one person dead and 11 others injured. The attack targeted the Ukrainian capital with a mix of aerial threats, marking a significant escalation in hostilities.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that
“11 people have been wounded in Kyiv. All of them are now being treated in city hospitals.”Residential buildings, a medical facility, and other infrastructure sites sustained damage. In response to the heightened danger, the WOG fuel station chain decided to temporarily shut down its gas stations across Kyiv and several other regions.
Aftermath of the Strike
Authorities confirmed that Timur Tkachenko was killed in the attack. The city remains on edge, with local officials continuing to assess the damage and coordinate aid for the injured.
