According to Novyny.live: In the early hours of March 20, a Russian drone struck near an educational institution in Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district, hitting at around midnight. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from this specific incident.
Over the two preceding days, March 18 and 19, Russian forces launched attacks on Kharkiv and nine other settlements in the region. Those strikes resulted in:
- one fatality;
- five people wounded.
The heaviest destruction occurred in Artemivka, located in the Chuhuiv district. Earlier, on March 16, Kharkiv was also targeted by drones, leaving a 34-year-old man injured. These relentless bombardments highlight the escalating threat to civilian infrastructure and the daily dangers faced by residents.
Mayor's Statement on the Strike
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov addressed the drone impact, confirming it happened near a school in the Shevchenkivskyi district. He emphasized that the security situation in the region remains tense amid ongoing enemy assaults.
