According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s parliamentary human rights commissioner, Dmytro Lubinets, has reported that a Russian strike on a UNICEF warehouse obliterated over 106,000 aid items valued at nearly $3.9 million. The attack, which targeted supplies intended for Ukrainian children, also resulted in child fatalities and injuries to civilians.

Deadly Toll and Broader Impact of Aggression

In June 2023, Russian aggression claimed the lives of seven children and wounded 116 others. That same month, at least 293 civilians were killed and 1,990 more injured across Ukraine due to hostilities. Lubinets expressed shock at what he called another cynical crime by Russia, emphasizing that striking a humanitarian depot is a direct assault on those working daily to save lives.

'When those delivering aid to children and civilians come under fire, Russia is not just attacking infrastructure—it is attacking the very ability to save lives,' Lubinets stated while commenting on the consequences of this act of aggression.
