Ukraine, US, and Russia Could Hold Fresh Talks This Week.
Three-Way Talks Involving Ukraine, the US, and Russia
According to Novyny.live: A new round of three-way talks involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia could take place this week. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this would be the first such dialogue format aimed at ending the war in a considerable time. He also expressed concern over numerous problematic issues that could arise during negotiations with Russia. These potential talks come as the conflict nears its second anniversary, with international diplomacy seen as crucial for any potential de-escalation.
Preparations for the Negotiations
The meeting will follow a report from a delegation, which Zelenskyy heard after their meetings in the United Arab Emirates. A document on security guarantees, which may be discussed during the talks, is reported to be 100% ready.
A broadcast of the program Evening.LIVE, where these issues will be discussed, is scheduled for Monday, January 26. The guests for the broadcast will include:
- political technologist Oleg Posternak,
- political scientist Ruslan Rokhov,
- Doctor of Economic Sciences Yaroslav Zhalilo,
- Head of the Energy Law Committee Oleksandr Trokhymets,
- Yuriy Yekhanurov, and
- philosopher Serhiy Datsiuk.
This new round of negotiations could become a significant step in the search for paths toward a peaceful settlement of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. A key topic of discussion will be the security guarantees document, which, according to the president, is already complete, indicating the sides' preparedness for constructive dialogue. The participation of high-level experts on the Evening.LIVE program also underscores the topic's relevance and importance for the country's public and political spheres.
