Russian Strike on Gas Stations in Dnipropetrovsk Region Leaves Civilians Injured
According to Novyny.live: At least two people were wounded on June 28, 2023, when Russian forces launched attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strikes hit the Nikopol district, specifically targeting the communities of Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka, Marhanets, and Pokrovsk. Fires erupted at two gas stations as a result. One of the injured is a 41-year-old woman, who sustained wounds and was hospitalized in moderate condition. According to Oleksandr Hanzha,
“two civilians were injured.”
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reports that the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. These attacks are part of a broader campaign in which Russia struck 15 Ukrainian regions over the course of a week, deploying roughly 1,400 attack drones, nearly 1,500 guided aerial bombs, and 19 missiles of various types. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted,
“Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy region were under daily fire, with fatalities and injuries.”
