Odesa allocated 12 million hryvnias to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: which units will receive support.
The Odesa budget decided to allocate 12 million hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This funding will assist units that are at the front lines.
Money for the Armed Forces
The city council deputies approved the decision to allocate more than 12 million hryvnias to support the Armed Forces. This money will go towards the needs of the units carrying out combat missions:
- 5 million UAH - for the 122nd separate territorial defense brigade,
- 5 million UAH - for the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign,
- 2.2 million UAH - for other military units that requested assistance.
The final decision on the distribution of these funds among the units will be made in September, after reviewing all requests.
It has been reported that a total of over 25 billion hryvnias is allocated in local budgets across Ukraine to assist the Armed Forces.
We recall that recently we wrote about how much will be allocated from the regional budget for the needs of the Armed Forces, as well as about the extension of contract 18-24.
Supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine is an important step towards strengthening the country's defense capability and protecting its territorial integrity. Assisting the military during combat operations will provide them with the necessary resources to fulfill their tasks.Read also
