Odesa: a woman who killed her son will stand trial.

The case of the son's murder during a family dinner in the Podilskyi district has been investigated by the police. The press service of the National Police of the region reported that the indictment has been sent to court.

The incident occurred in September in one of the settlements of the Kuyalnytska community. Local residents called the police and an ambulance, reporting the incident. The body of a 31-year-old man with a bleeding wound was found on the veranda of the family home.

It was established that during the family dinner, during which everyone was drinking alcohol, relatives had an argument. The enraged mother stabbed her son in the chest after a verbal insult. The father could not stop his wife, and the son died on the spot. The man received a fatal chest injury with damage to the aorta, leading to significant blood loss.

For this crime, the woman faces up to 15 years in prison. It is worth mentioning that in Kyiv, a 55-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for killing his 30-year-old son. During a family holiday dinner in the kitchen, they had a quarrel, and the father delivered a fatal knife blow. To cover up the crime, the man dismembered his son's body and disposed of it in garbage containers in bags and sacks, while the head and limbs were cemented in the garage.
