AirBaltic Returns to Ukraine: What Flights Are Planned to Kyiv and Lviv.
AirBaltic Plans to Resume Flights to Ukraine
According to ТСН: The airline airBaltic, considered one of the safest in Europe, has announced its intention to return to the Ukrainian market and resume regular flights to and from Ukraine as soon as the airspace becomes open and safe.
The airline's statement notes: 'The airline plans to connect Kyiv and Lviv with Riga (Latvia), providing Ukrainian travelers with seamless access to the extensive airBaltic route network throughout Europe and beyond.'
The company also intends to restore flights from both cities to Tallinn (Estonia) and Vilnius (Lithuania) as soon as it receives all necessary permits and ensures the safety of the airspace.
Additionally, airBaltic has integrated the Ukrainian language into its official website, enhancing convenience and accessibility for Ukrainian-speaking customers.
'AirBaltic remains committed to restoring regular flights to and from Ukraine as soon as the airspace becomes open and safe,' the company's statement said.
It should be noted that earlier, plans were reported for European low-cost airlines to return to Ukraine, but this may only occur after a peace agreement is signed and the airspace is opened.
The resumption of airBaltic flights will be an important step in restoring air connectivity in Ukraine. With the return of international carriers, Ukrainians will be able to reach most European countries, significantly easing travel and business relations. We hope that safety in the airspace of Ukraine will be restored as soon as possible.
