Flood destroyed a bridge in the Polish city of Głuchołazy. Local authorities urge people to evacuate. This is reported by Wprost.
According to the publication, in the morning, water began to overflow the embankments on the temporary bridge over the Biała Głuchołaska River. Shortly after, the bridge collapsed.
The mayor of Głuchołazy, Paweł Szymkowicz, urged all residents to evacuate:

The local politician emphasized that although the situation is serious, not all services are following orders. He noted: "Unfortunately, some people seem not to understand the seriousness and scale of the threat. They think that since the bridge exists, they are safe, but this is not true. I urge everyone to evacuate the city as soon as possible or move to higher ground. We are sinking".
Senior Captain Paweł Kolera reported that there is no electricity in the city.
Recall that due to floods in Poland and the Czech Republic, railway operators in both countries have temporarily canceled several routes.
