UAF Officer Describes How Syrskyi Differs from Zaluzhnyi.
Intelligence officer and military expert Arty Green explained the difference between former head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and current Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. Green described one of them as a “patriot of Ukraine” and the other as a “patriot of his career.” Both generals know Green personally.
Zaluzhnyi is a silver dollar and has his own uniqueness, but he is a leader. He is a sincere and Ukrainian officer with patriotic motivation. He served Ukraine and is ready to die for it. He will not take negative actions if he receives a wrong command. He does not tolerate corruption. Syrskyi, according to Green, follows any command, but he is not a traitor. Syrskyi is not very well-liked, he keeps his distance and listens to no one, telling everyone what to do.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Zaluzhnyi and appointed Syrskyi as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The decision was made due to the need to review the tactics.
