Postponement from mobilization can be applied for online abroad: main condition

According to ТСН: Ukrainian citizens who found themselves outside the country after the full-scale invasion can apply for a postponement from mobilization online.

Lawyer Vladislav Deryi noted that the electronic military registration document (e-VOD), created in the "Reserve+" app, has the same legal force as a paper document.

"The presence of a physical carrier is not mandatory for applying for postponement. E-VOD is a full-fledged document for carrying out all necessary procedures".

This allows men who have grounds for postponement to submit online applications, for example, in cases of caring for a disabled relative or in other similar situations.

What is the main condition for the remote procedure

Although remote processing is possible, there are certain limitations. The main factor is the citizen's status in state registers at the time of crossing the border.

The lawyer emphasized that the main condition is the absence of the person in search at the time of leaving the country. If this criterion is met, all subsequent actions can be performed using electronic means of communication and the military registration document on the smartphone.

How does the postponement mechanism work abroad

Remote processing allows avoiding personal presence in the recruiting center. To successfully complete the process, you need to:

  • Have a valid electronic military registration document.

  • Confirm the existence of legal grounds for postponement with the appropriate documents.

  • Ensure the absence of the status "in search" through the "Reserve+" system.

This approach significantly simplifies the lives of thousands of Ukrainians who are in Europe or other countries but want to act in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

Recall that the app for military conscripts "Reserve+" has introduced a postponement for those whose one parent has a disability of the I or II group.

The postponement from mobilization online opens new opportunities for Ukrainians who, due to circumstances, found themselves abroad. Now they can more easily address mobilization issues without violating legislation. This is especially important for those who are responsible for caring for relatives with disabilities. This initiative reflects the state's efforts to support its citizens in wartime.
