Occupiers shelled their own units in Vovchansk.


The situation in the Kharkiv direction remains difficult but without significant changes
Ukrainian defense forces continue to effectively hold back the advance of Russian troops. This was reported by the press service of the Operational Group of Troops 'Kharkiv'.
The occupiers in the area of the village Hlyboke are moving personnel to replenish losses and are conducting engineering reconnaissance to find new logistical routes. Near Lukyantsi, the enemy is expanding its communication system and conducting logistical support activities.
In Vovchansk, the Russians attempted to deliver personnel by cars, but Ukrainian forces struck, destroying enemy equipment. Additionally, the occupiers used MLRS against their own units near the Aggregate Plant. The enemy in the direction of the village Tyche activated aerial reconnaissance trying to detect the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
Over the past day, there was one combat engagement, the enemy conducted two airstrikes, and used 36 kamikaze drones to attack AFU positions. The defense forces continue to successfully destroy the occupiers' personnel and equipment.
Over the past day, the enemy incurred 85 personnel losses, of which 22 were irretrievable and 61 were sanitary. Two occupiers voluntarily surrendered.
In the Kharkiv direction, 42 units of enemy equipment and weapons were destroyed or damaged, including:
- three artillery systems;
- three vehicles;
- four units of special equipment;
- 32 drones.
Also destroyed:
43 shelters for personnel;
one ammunition depot;
two launch pads for drones.
On September 14 and 15, fighting continued near Hlyboke and Vovchansk, but there were no confirmed changes on the frontline in this area.
Ukrainian military: Russian strikes with gliding bombs decreased
On September 15, a Ukrainian soldier operating in the north of the Kharkiv region stated that the pace of Russian strikes with gliding bombs continued to decrease over the past two weeks (approximately September 1-14), as Russian troops lost a significant number of long-range drones.
