Occupants broke through in Dnipropetrovsk region? The General Staff made a statement.
The situation on the border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions remains tense but stable, as reported by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russian invaders have not yet been able to break through the border and secure new positions. And although heavy fighting continues, the information about Russia's breakthrough in the Dnipropetrovsk region has been refuted, the administrative border has not been crossed, leaving the situation as is.
«As of today, heavy fighting continues, the situation is dynamic and may change. But, as was already reported today in the operational-strategic grouping of troops «Khortytsia», there is no data that the Russian occupants crossed the administrative border between the regions and secured themselves,» said the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Lykhoviy.
Maintaining defensive positions on the border is critically important, as the aggressors are prepared for significant losses at the front. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed outrage at the tactics of the Russian invaders and supported measures for defense against hostile invasion.
Ukrainian forces continue to actively defend their territory, preventing any breakthrough across the border, thus supporting the independence and integrity of the country.
