According to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hryhorov, the situation in the areas of Yunakivka and Khotyn communities remains complicated, dynamic, but controllable. The most intense hostilities are taking place here, where the enemy is trying to act in small groups and consolidate.

In the last two weeks, Russian troops have carried out nearly 200 airstrikes on the Sumy region with guided bombs. The civilian population from these territories has long been evacuated. Despite this, shelling continues, and houses, farms, and civil infrastructure objects remain under fire.

The situation at the border of the Sumy region remains tense, but it is controlled by military authorities. The civilian population remains under protection, and the enemy forces cannot establish themselves in new territories. Evacuation measures have been implemented to avoid casualties and destruction among the civilian population.
