This beach is accessible only through a tunnel known as the Smuggler's Tunnel. It is believed to have been used for transporting goods from boats to the village.
Little is known about the tunnel; however, it has been renovated with lighting for the convenience of visitors. To reach the beach, you need to overcome 86 steps, and the journey takes about five minutes.
At the end of the tunnel, you encounter a steep descent, promising a challenging journey back up, but beyond lies a deserted beach covered in pebbles and red sand.
Thanks to protection from the winds, the beach here is warmer, but it should be noted that there are no facilities such as toilets or cafes.

Visitor reviews
Many people noted the silence on the beach, attributed to its remote location.
“Walking through the tunnels is an experience in itself.”
“A wonderful hidden beach with beautiful red sand. The great walk through a short tunnel with a few steps only added to the overall impression.”
This beach is not the only one in the UK that can be accessed through a tunnel. For example, in Wales, there is one main beach in Barmouth, but there is also a section hidden under a tunnel.
Several active enthusiasts believe that the journey to such secret beaches is definitely worth the effort.

Visitors also noted that the beach has a calm atmosphere and less wind. This hidden nook can be an ideal place for those looking for solitude and do not mind putting in a little effort to reach it.
