The attraction “Niagara Takes Flight” promises visitors a unique view of the waterfall, creating the illusion of flight, although they will actually remain on the ground. The project, costing $25 million, is located at the Table Rock Center in Niagara Park, at the edge of the Horseshoe Falls.
The opening for the public is scheduled for August 29, and the attraction promises an exhilarating journey of 56 kilometers through the Niagara region. Advanced drone technologies, modern moving chairs, and various sensory effects such as wind, mist, and scents will allow visitors to feel as if they are flying in the sky.

The attraction features a large 17-meter screen displaying stunning landscapes. Filming in the region lasted for six months, showcasing all four seasons and the transition from day to night.

History of Niagara Falls
In addition to the standalone attraction, visitors will be able to walk through four themed rooms exploring the history of Niagara over the past 13,000 years. The ancestors’ room features original artworks of indigenous peoples, as well as pieces by Mohawk Nation artist Sara General that tell the story of Turtle Island.
In the waterfall room, an impressive narration by director James Cameron recounts key events and cultural achievements of Niagara. 'It was a pleasure and an honor to be part of a project that celebrates the waterfall and the town I grew up in,' Cameron noted.
“My first job at 16 years old was at the Niagara Parks Commission, so this opportunity completes a circle, 55 years later.”
Anticipation for the attraction's opening
The project is realized by former Disney engineer Rick Rothschild, who worked as creative director along with Brogent Technologies. Chi-hung Ouyang, the chairman and CEO of Brogent Technologies, stated: 'This project combines technology and storytelling to deepen the emotional connection of people with one of the world’s most famous destinations.'
“This investment of $25 million, fully funded by us, supports our vision to become one of the greatest parks in the world while also boosting tourism and supporting the local economy.”
The attraction will open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, starting August 29. Tickets are already available at a price of $29 (£21.60) for adults and $19 (£14.15) for children.

Thus, “Niagara Takes Flight” promises to become not only a new attraction for tourists but also an opportunity to immerse in the history and culture of the region. This reflects the growing popularity of Niagara Falls and its ability to adapt to modern technologies in the entertainment sector. We look forward to the opening of the attraction and its impact on the local economy and tourism.
