OpenAI dominates the corporate artificial intelligence market.
OpenAI is a leader in corporate spending on artificial intelligence
According to the Ramp AI index, more American companies are paying for subscriptions to OpenAI products, outpacing competitors. Currently, 32.4% of enterprises use artificial intelligence models and tools from OpenAI, which is a significant increase compared to previous months.
Other companies, such as Anthropic and Google, show less impressive results. Only 8% of businesses use Anthropic products, and subscriptions for AI solutions from Google have even declined.
'OpenAI continues to attract customers faster than any other business on the Ramp platform,' said Ramp economist Ara Harzian.
At the same time, the Ramp index has its limitations, as it only considers certain companies and types of expenses. In April, OpenAI reported a significant increase in corporate users, which is likely to positively impact the company's profitability in the future.
It is also worth noting that OpenAI is considering charging high fees from business clients for the use of specialized AI 'agents' in their tasks.
