The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) is conducting security measures in Sumy on October 5. These actions cover the entire city. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The Security Service is conducting counterintelligence (security) activities on the territory of the city of Sumy. The National Police, military law enforcement service in the AFU, and the National Guard are involved in these activitiesAs noted, the actions of law enforcement officers cover the entire city.
The aim is to prevent and neutralize threats of intelligence-subversive activities against our state, prevent provocations, and enhance the safety of citizens in the context of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine
What measures will be taken in the city
SSU officers warn that during the operation, restrictions on passage and driving on streets, checking citizens' documents, and inspecting vehicles are possible.In case of reasonable suspicions regarding certain individuals, additional checks may be conductedIn addition, the area and common premises are being inspected to detect prohibited items.
