Survey: 70% of Ukrainians consider the confrontation of governmental structures harmful.
According to inkorr.com: More than 70% of citizens in Ukraine believe that rivalry or confrontation between state institutions negatively impacts the country's development. These results were obtained as part of a study conducted by Active Group.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine enjoy the greatest trust among state structures – 52.3% of respondents indicated them. In second place is the Security Service of Ukraine (36.5%), and the third is the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (34.2%),” the study states.
According to the survey, only 18.7% of Ukrainians believe that competition among state bodies has a positive impact. An important aspect is the level of trust in anti-corruption structures: 20.4% of respondents trust NABU, while 13.0% have confidence in the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
The results indicate that 24.1% of Ukrainians do not trust any state institution. It was also found that about a third of respondents (33.1%) consider competition among state structures evident, while 19.5% partially agree with this.
Details of the Study
The study was conducted through the online panel SunFlower Sociology. A total of 800 citizens of Ukraine aged 18 and older participated in the survey, and the theoretical error does not exceed 3.5%. Data collection continued until September 13, 2025.
The results indicate that Ukrainians consider trust in state structures extremely important, and high competition among them may hinder the country's development. More than a quarter of respondents do not trust any state institution, which indicates a low level of confidence in certain authorities.
