People's deputy from the "Servant of the People" Ihor Kopytin got into a road accident on the Kyiv-Odesa highway. As a result of the accident, he received serious injuries and was hospitalized. This was reported by sources in law enforcement agencies. The incident occurred in the city of Bila Tserkva at the 78th km of the M-05 Kyiv-Odesa highway in the direction of Kyiv. The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado hit a concrete obstacle.

The people's deputy received closed injuries to the chest, abdomen, and bones of the right upper limb forearm. The driver also received serious injuries: a head injury, a concussion, and a fracture of the lumbar spine. Both the deputy and the driver were taken to Bila Tserkva City Hospital No. 2 for medical assistance.

The fatal accident occurred when the politician was moving in the direction of the city of Chop in the left lane of the highway.
