Zelensky and American Negotiations in Berlin: What Was Agreed Regarding the Peace Plan.
According to ТСН: The negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and a U.S. delegation headed by Special Presidential Representative Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have concluded in Berlin.
Advisor to the President on Communications Dmytro Lytvyn informed reporters about this.
After the conversation with the American side, Zelensky went to a scheduled meeting with the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Previous Negotiations
It should be noted that the second round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations regarding the U.S. peace plan to end the war in Ukraine took place on December 15 in Berlin.
Following the results of the previous meeting on December 14, which lasted five hours, Witkoff noted:
“significant progress achieved”. He also reported that there were
“in-depth discussions”of the peace plan, which consists of 20 points.
The discussions are taking place in the context of efforts aimed at restoring peace in Ukraine. The U.S. is actively involved in the process, which indicates their support for Ukrainian initiatives. The negotiations open up new opportunities for finding compromise and stabilizing the situation in the region.
