According to Espreso.tv: Olga detailed the obstacles faced by internally displaced persons (IDPs) from occupied areas, especially Mariupol, when trying to secure compensation for damaged homes. The government vouchers designed to assist in these cases only offer support to those whose properties are located in areas accessible to a special inspection team.

To qualify for compensation, applicants must provide photographic evidence and have the commission visit the site in person. However, such a visit is impossible in occupied Mariupol. This creates a major hurdle for many IDPs now living in Lviv, who lack official documentation of their destroyed homes.

Olga noted: 'It goes without saying that the commission cannot travel to occupied Mariupol.'

She also remarked that 'these vouchers often sound effective in theory, but in practice, there are many unresolved issues.' As a result, displaced individuals face serious difficulties in obtaining proper compensation, further complicating their situation as they try to rebuild their lives in new locations.
