The change of clocks has been clarified: there is an update regarding daylight saving time 2025.

It has been explained to Ukrainians whether it will be necessary to change the clocks to daylight saving Time in 2025.
This was reported by 'Hvylya'.
According to tradition, every March in Ukraine, there is a transition to daylight saving time. However, this year the situation is different. Last summer, the Ukrainian parliament made a decision to completely ban the changing of clocks and establish a permanent winter time, renaming it 'Kyiv time'. The deputies justified their decision by caring for the health of citizens and economic feasibility. This innovation sparked discussions among the population, but regardless of the opinions of citizens, the resolution remained in effect.
After this, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was supposed to sign the relevant document, which would acknowledge the unnecessary nature of the traditional clock change twice a year. But six months have passed, and the bill has remained unsigned by the president.
Therefore, if Zelensky does not sign the bill by the end of March, Ukraine will continue to switch to daylight saving time according to the old rules. But if the document is signed in the coming weeks, a uniform 'Kyiv time' will be introduced throughout the country, and changing clocks will no longer be necessary.
It is worth noting that the transition to daylight saving time does not occur on a specific date, but on the last Sunday in March. In 2025, this day falls on March 30. At 3:00 AM, the clock hands will be moved one hour forward unless another decision is made.
It is important to mention that not only Ukraine is transitioning to daylight saving time. Many countries in Europe also change clocks twice a year - in the fall and spring.
