PFU explained whether internally displaced persons can change the bank for pension payments.

Internally displaced persons can choose another bank for pension payments
Starting from March 20, 2025, the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 299 dated February 11, 2025, allows internally displaced persons (IDPs) receiving pensions or insurance payments through Oschadbank to choose any other authorized bank for receiving payments. This was reported by the press service of the PFU.
Now pensioners with IDP status are not limited to one bank and can use the services of any authorized financial institution.
To change the bank, pensioners need to contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine and submit an application with the name of the chosen bank and the banking details of their account.
The application can be submitted through any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or online, through a personal account on the PFU electronic services web portal.
This new rule allows pensioners greater freedom of choice and facilitates the receipt of pension or insurance payments.
We remind you that the Council supported restrictions on certain pensions.
