Pension recalculation from March 1, 2025
From March 1, 2025, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has started indexing pension payments according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 209 dated February 25, 2025. The indexing coefficient is 1.115.
The government also established additional coefficients for pensions assigned in 2021-2024 to reduce discrepancies in payment amounts over different periods.
For pensions that were assigned before December 31, 2024, recalculation was made using specific coefficients for increasing the average wage:
- for pensions assigned in 2021 - 1.0575
- for pensions assigned in 2022 - 1.046
- for pensions assigned in 2023 - 1.0345
- for pensions assigned in 2024 - 1.023
This decision is based on paragraph 6 of subparagraph 2 of the CMU Resolution No. 209 'On indexing pension and insurance payments and additional measures to increase the level of social protection for the most vulnerable segments of the population in 2025.'
