PFU urgently appealed to Ukrainians: what is the situation with pension, subsidy, and sick leave payments.
Funding of social payments for May 2025
The process of funding social payments for May 2025 is actively ongoing throughout Ukraine.
According to information from the Pension Fund's press service, as of May 14, 36.5 billion hryvnias had been sent for pension payments to citizens. Most of these funds, specifically 29.6 billion hryvnias, have already reached the accounts of pensioners through banking institutions, while the remaining 6.9 billion hryvnias were delivered through the postal operator 'Ukrposhta.'
Meanwhile, funding for housing subsidies and benefits continues, with 3060.4 million hryvnias already allocated. Insurance payments have also not been overlooked - 2154.7 million hryvnias have been directed to them, including 909.7 million UAH for sick leave payments.
Citizens are actively using social services, as since the beginning of the month, the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine have provided over 504 thousand individual consultations and services to citizens. The funding of social programs is carried out on schedule, allowing timely support for the most vulnerable segments of the population.
It should be noted that from 2025, certain categories of citizens will receive 4500 hryvnias.
