The Pension Fund provided an important clarification regarding funds for the health improvement of children.
The Ukrainian Pension Fund has completed financing social payments for the first half of March 2025. The total amount of allocated funds was 36.9 billion hryvnias, of which 29.5 billion hryvnias were transferred through banks, and 7.4 billion hryvnias were received through 'Ukrposhta'.
The fund also financed 5.24 billion hryvnias for housing subsidies and benefits for citizens, as well as over 2 billion hryvnias for insurance payments, including the payment of sick leaves.
Overall, the Pension Fund provided 508,500 services to citizens who applied to it during March.
The fund also clarified that budget funds received by parents for the health improvement of children are not considered as family income when providing subsidies.
Pension Indexation from March 1, 2025
From the beginning of March 2025, pension indexation has begun, during which 57.5 billion hryvnias will be allocated. Payments are being made without delays, and pensioners are already receiving increased amounts of pension payments.
The recalculation of pensions was carried out from March 1, 2025, according to resolution No. 209 of 25.02.2025, which was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In addition, the Pension Fund has implemented a new system for verifying pensioners through the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens for automated verification of information about deaths.
