A Russian plane caught fire at Antalya airport during landing.
There was a fire in the engine of a Russian airline 'Azimut' plane at Antalya airport. This was reported by AirportHaber.
The Sukhoi Superjet 100, belonging to 'Azimut', caught fire after landing at the airport. The fire was noticed after the plane stopped on the runway.
The pilots and crew managed the situation: passengers were evacuated, and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire in the plane's engine.
Passengers reported a strong impact during landing, which could have been the result of the left wing colliding with the runway.
This could have led to a fuel leak, which likely caused the fire.
All 80 passengers were successfully evacuated from the plane, taking their luggage with them.
There are no injuries, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
