Suspicion Announced for Head of Khmelnytsky Region MSEC

The head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Medical-Social Expertise Center, Tetyana Krupa, who was suspected of illegal enrichment in early October 2024, retained her position. This is reported in the publication of "Glavkom".

According to a source from the Khmelnytsky Regional Council, as of October 24, there is no court decision to remove Krupa from her position. Therefore, the council leadership assigned the signing of documents to the head of the MSEC, surgeon Yuriy Bevzyuk.

It is worth remembering that on October 4, the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Medical-Social Expertise Center, Tetyana Krupa, and her son, head of the regional Pension Fund Oleksandr Krupa, were exposed in illegal enrichment. During the searches, approximately $6 million in cash was found.

The State Bureau of Investigations discovered $100 thousand, fake medical documents, lists with fictitious diagnoses and names in the office of the head of the MSEC. Additionally, they found almost $5 million 244 thousand, €300 thousand, over 5 million UAH, jewelry, and valuables. During the investigation, the official attempted to dispose of the money by throwing two bags with half a million dollars out the window.

The head of Khmelnytsky OVA, Serhiy Tyurin, commenting on this situation, expressed surprise at the scale of cynicism.

In October, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv determined a preventive measure for the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Medical-Social Expertise Center, Tetyana Krupa. She was placed under detention for 60 days with the possibility of bail in the amount of over 500 million UAH. If the suspect pays the appropriate amount, certain restrictions are imposed on her, including the prohibition of visiting the MSEC and changing the place of residence.

According to data, more than 50 prosecutors of Khmelnytsky, led by the regional prosecutor Oleksiy Oliynyk, obtained disability status through the possible corruption scheme of Tetyana Krupa in the MSEC.
