A video in which 28-year-old Volodymyr Dolotenko apologizes for beating a soldier in Smila has appeared on social networks. In his statement, Dolotenko apologized to the Ukrainian people and the army and said that the situation did not turn out the way he wanted. The video can be viewed via the link.
Recall that on September 3, a conflict occurred in the city of Smila between a soldier and an elderly criminal authority, which caused a wide public resonance. After a car accident in which the soldier's parents were injured, the gangster beat him and forced him to admit guilt and apologize publicly. Subsequently, the suspect was charged and criminal proceedings were initiated under four articles.
