Last week, half a million barrels of oil from the Russian Far East were delivered to the Indian refinery aboard the 'Sokol'. Half of this volume was loaded after two transshipments from vessel to vessel, which involved sanctioned tankers. Other US sanctioned tankers, including Captain Kostichev and Victor Konetsky, were also involved in the trade.

Despite the sanctions, US-controlled tankers continue to transport Russian oil to India, using a complex scheme of transshipments involving banned vessels.
