Airline pilots frightened by mysterious object in the sky over Istanbul.

Aircraft pilots departing from Istanbul airport and arriving there have been receiving signals about a possible collision threat with an unidentified object for the past two days. This was reported by the newspaper 'Hürriyet'.

'For the past two days, pilots at Istanbul airport have been receiving alerts from the airborne collision avoidance system (TCAS), warning them of a potential threat. The pilots report this to the airport controllers,' the material states.

Some pilots speculate that the signals may be caused by the presence of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or ships. However, after checks conducted by the coast guard and other services, no threats have been identified.

Currently, the reason for the alerts on the radars remains unknown.

Some Turkish media outlets report transcripts of conversations between pilots and the control tower of one of the aircraft. Controllers note that several crews reported a mysterious threat, but no confirmations have been received. It is known that the object was at an altitude of less than 500 feet (about 150 meters).

It is worth noting that on January 27, a fire broke out in a nine-story hotel in Turkey, where people were present. Firefighters extinguished the fire in the resort town of Alanya.
