Cash on Delivery Banned: Ukrposhta Changed Parcel Payment Rules.
Ukrposhta made changes to the parcel payment rules for its customers.
The press service of the company informed that from August 30, Ukrposhta stopped accepting parcels with cash on delivery for shipment. But this only applies to individual entrepreneurs who are senders.
The company noted that the National Bank of Ukraine made changes to the Regulation on Cash Operations in the national currency. According to this document, it is prohibited to pay cash on delivery to individual entrepreneurs. Cash on delivery can only be paid to a card or an individual entrepreneur's account.
"Business entities carry out cash settlements among themselves and with individuals through the cash desk, using funds received as cash proceeds as well as monetary funds received from payment service providers. Such settlement is also conducted by depositing cash into the payment service providers' cash desks for subsequent transfer of funds to the business entities' accounts", the company reported.
It is worth noting that all services provided before August 30 will be completed in accordance with the legislation that was in effect at the time of acceptance of the shipment.
Recall, Ukrposhta will provide its customers with tonometers and nebulizers.
