Military man from Odesa region beats woman with a bottle: court makes a decision.
As a result of a quarrel, a military man from the Odesa region beat his cohabitant with a bottle and punched her in the head. A case was opened against him, which was heard in the Tatarbunary district court.
Details of the case
The military man, a native of the village of Nerushay in the Tatarbunary district, quarreled with his cohabitant in the kitchen. During the scandal, the man grabbed a glass bottle and hit the woman in the forehead with it. After that, he delivered another punch to the victim's face. The victim sustained minor bodily injuries, and a case was opened against the serviceman.
What the court decided
The military man was found guilty under part 2 of article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (infliction of minor bodily injuries). For this, he will have to pay a fine of 1700 hryvnias.
Recall that recently there was a report about a case in which a military man attacked an acquaintance with a knife, as well as about a serviceman of the Armed Forces who staged a stabbing in Odesa's Arkadia.
