Captured Russians talk about the soldiers from North Korea they had to fight alongside.
Russian prisoners of war complain about the reckless behavior of North Korean soldiers who were sent to Russia to help fight Ukraine. They noted that the Koreans are segregated from the Russians and have a lot of combat experience. Russian soldiers also observed the Koreans' behavior on the front lines, displaying great audacity. The captives asserted that North Koreans go into battle first, followed by the Russians. The soldiers also complained about the risks posed by the Koreans, as well as the better food and weapons the latter possess.
The captured soldiers confirmed the Koreans' handling of weapons and misunderstandings with South Korean soldiers. Russian troops accused the Korean military of reckless and dangerous behavior and noted that they have access to better weapons and food. Earlier, Russia sent North Korean soldiers to support its troops during the conflict with Ukraine.
These events indicate an attempt by Russia to conceal its losses during military operations on Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian forces are using unconventional methods, including explosive drones with Christmas toys, to confuse the enemy.
