Strengthening Ties Between Warsaw and Kyiv
According to Espreso.tv: During a session of the Poland-Ukraine Parliamentary Assembly, Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Monika Wielichowska condemned Russia's aggression and stressed the critical role of bilateral cooperation in post-war recovery. She announced that a conference focused on rebuilding Ukraine will take place on June 25-26, 2026, in Gdańsk, with an estimated 5,000 participants expected to attend.
Ukraine Recovery Conference Details
Wielichowska stated that
“Polish businesses and public institutions can serve as a genuine bridge between Ukraine and the European Union’s single market.”She further emphasized that
“our decisions, collaboration, and sense of responsibility will determine whether we can build a solid foundation for a secure, stable, and prosperous future for our nations and all of Europe.”She also noted that “Russia is not seeking peace and continues to pursue its imperial ambitions.”
