Poland has put its fighter jets on alert in response to Russia's attack.
According to ТСН: Poland has activated its fighter jets in response to Russia's attack on Ukraine. Ground-based air defense systems and radar reconnaissance are also ready for deployment.
Actions of the Polish military
The operational command of the Polish Armed Forces confirmed that, according to established procedures, the necessary forces and resources have been put on alert.
“The fighter jets have been raised into the air, and the ground-based air defense systems and radar reconnaissance have been put on alert,”– the statement reads. These measures are of a preventive nature and aim to ensure the security of the airspace, particularly in areas that may be threatened.
Monitoring the situation
The operational command of the Polish Armed Forces is carefully monitoring the situation, and the subordinate forces are ready for a quick response.
Russia's strategic bombers
At the same time, Russia has activated its strategic bombers, including two Tu-95MS and two Tu-160. These aircraft took to the air from the "Bjelaja" and "Ukrainka" airports, and the information was recorded at 00:25.
Drone movements in Ukraine
Information about the trajectory of drone movements in Ukraine has also been disclosed:
The Tatarbunary district — they are moving towards Arcziz;
from Kherson they have entered the Black Sea — towards Tatarbunar;
in the north and west of the Kharkiv region — heading south;
from east to west in the Sumy region — towards Chernihiv;
in Chernihiv — heading towards Kyiv;
in Donetsk — heading towards Dnipropetrovsk.
These events indicate a worsening situation in Eastern Europe. Poland, as a neighbor of Ukraine, continues to implement measures to protect its airspace, which again underscores the importance of military cooperation and the readiness of allies to respond quickly in the event of an escalation of the conflict. The situation at the front remains tense, and monitoring the drones shows active military actions in the region.
