Due to floods in Poland and the Czech Republic, the railway companies of both countries have temporarily canceled some services, reports the press service of «Ukrzaliznytsia».
The press service notes that trains from Prague to Chop and Przemysl are still in the Czech territory and will not be able to catch the Ukrainian connecting trains.
«As for passengers from Ukraine who plan to travel in the Prague direction and need to transfer, we advise contacting the Czech or Polish railway operator to clarify the schedule of the next services. Passengers will likely have to stay overnight in the transfer city», – the press service reported.
It is also worth noting that the order to unify freight tariffs, which «Ukrzaliznytsia» submitted to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, may have catastrophic consequences for various sectors of Ukraine's economy, budget revenues and lead to the loss of thousands of jobs. This order will also negatively impact the defense capabilities of our state.
