Vladimir Vyacheslavovich Fesenko - Ukrainian political scientist, head of the 'Penta' Center for Applied Political Studies.
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Lozova in the Kharkiv region. In 1981, he graduated from Kharkiv State University (received a degree in 'Teacher of History and Social Science'). In 1986 - PhD studies at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Doctor of Philosophy. He completed an internship at the Harriman Institute (Columbia University) and Queen's University (Canada).
Career. 1990-2000 - Lecturer at the Department of History of Ukraine and Politics at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy (since February 1995 - part-time).
1993-1999 - Coordinator of programs in the area of 'Civil Society' in the Kharkiv region of the International Renaissance Foundation.
1999-2002 - Lecturer at the Department of Applied Sociology of the National W. Karazin Kharkiv University.
2001-2002 - Deputy Director of the Political Consulting Office 'Penta'. 2003-2010 - Chairman of the Board of the Center for Applied Political Studies 'Penta'.
Since summer 2010 - Chairman of the Gorshenin Institute for Administrative Affairs in Kyiv. He took over the leadership of this organization after the political engagement of Konstantin Bondarenko.
Since December 2010 - again Chairman of the Board of the Center for Applied Political Studies 'Penta'.
Author of more than 80 scientific and educational publications (including co-author of several political textbooks) and over 100 publications in printed media.
Member of the Public Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Member of the Russian-Ukrainian Consultative Council.
