The attack by Ukrainian drones has led to a halt of oil flow through the Russian port of Ust-Luga in the Baltic Sea. This situation poses a serious threat to global oil supplies, especially if the pipeline system is damaged. According to Bloomberg, since January 29, the oil flow has completely stopped, and the last tanker left the port in the morning. In addition, SBU drones and special forces also attacked an oil pumping station and a missile arsenal in Andreapol and Tver region of Russia. Increased vulnerability and equipment damage have resulted from these attacks, causing an oil spill.

Also, on the night of January 29, the Main Intelligence Directorate along with other military units attacked an oil refinery in Kstovo, which is an important supplier of oil for the Russian army.
