Kharkiv is expecting thunderstorms and gusts up to 20 m/s: meteorologists warn of a yellow level of danger.
On August 7, cloudy weather with rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds up to 20 meters per second is expected in the Kharkiv region. This information was shared by the Kharkiv Regional Hydro-Meteorological Center.
It is forecasted that there will be brief rains with thunderstorms, possible hail, and gusty winds. At night, the wind will be closer to the southern direction and up to 8 meters per second, during the day — from the northwestern direction and up to 12 meters per second.
The air temperature in the region at night is expected to be from +15 to +20 °C, during the day from +23 to +28 °C. In Kharkiv, the air temperature will be slightly higher, from +17 to +19 °C at night and from +23 to +25 °C during the day. Meteorologists declared a yellow level of danger due to worsening weather conditions, which may hinder the operation of energy, construction, and communal enterprises, as well as traffic flow.
According to forecasts by meteorologist Natalka Didenko, dry weather is expected in most regions of Ukraine on August 7. It was also previously reported when to expect magnetic storms this month. Currently, it is recommended to be vigilant and prepare for possible bad weather.
