The police checked the bomb threat reports, but all of them turned out to be false. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

The majority of the bomb threat reports came from IP addresses belonging to Russia. In total, over 2,000 calls were reviewed, mostly concerning the threat of bombing administrative buildings.

Criminal cases have been opened for false reports about threats to people's safety under Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Today, October 14, there was a wave of bomb threat statements concerning government institutions and educational establishments in Kyiv. Bomb technicians and dog handlers are working on-site, while the police check objects for which anonymous bomb threat reports were received. Also, in various regions of the country, the electronic addresses of state authorities, local governments, and other objects received anonymous letters with threats. Currently, inspections are underway.

It was also reported that over 60 foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine received anonymous bomb threat letters. Similar letters were received by the structural departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. In some cases, diplomats had to temporarily suspend consular services, but after inspections, they were resumed.
