The Air Force showed how the air defense shot down Russian drones at night.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated how they repelled the air attack of the Russian troops in the southeastern direction on December 5. The corresponding video recording from the Air Force Command was published on Facebook.
It is indicated that this is 'combat work of the air defense on the night of December 5 in the southeastern direction'.

It should be added that Russian invaders launched two ballistic missiles and 44 drones at Ukraine that night. The defensive forces shot down 30 of them, and another 12 were lost.
The defenders regained control over the village of Novy Komar in Donetsk region, driving out the Russian occupiers. This news was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Joint Forces Operation 'Khortytsia' Nazar Voloshyn.
The analytical project DeepState also reported the return of control over the village, noting the participation of the 48th separate assault battalion.
Ukrainian forces also had minor successes in Toretsk, within the framework of Russia's offensive operations. The report from the Institute for the Study of War notes that Russian troops seized the Zabalka microdistrict and continue to attack in groups of up to eight under smoke cover and with the support of drones and artillery.
On the night of November 28, the Defense Forces of Ukraine drove the enemy out of the city of Kup'yansk. Also, the enemy continues to advance in the areas of Novomlynske, Dal'ne, Kostiantynivka, Rozdol'ne, Petrivka, and Kurakhove in Donetsk region.
