Border guards destroyed 6 Shahed drones and 33 Russian artillery pieces in a week: attack results.
Border guards effectively destroy Russian occupiers and their equipment. They announced the number of destroyed items in just one week.
This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Telegram on Monday, August 18.
Strikes on occupiers
From August 11 to 17, border guards destroyed two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, and 33 artillery units. Additionally, they successfully eliminated six Shahed-type strike drones.
Among other strikes by the border guards in the week:
- 15 ammunition and fuel supply depots;
- 115 communication means, observation complexes, and electronic warfare systems;
- 631 positions and shelters of the occupiers;
- 138 vehicles and special equipment;
- 549 tactical-level drones;
- four bridges and small vessels.
It is worth mentioning that in Kharkiv region, soldiers from the 'Phoenix' unit of the State Border Guard Service captured two occupiers with the help of a drone.
Earlier, the border guards demonstrated how they strike at the logistics of the invaders in the Kharkiv direction.
Ukrainian border guards continue to actively neutralize Russian occupiers and their equipment at the border with occupied Crimea and in Donbas. Their effective actions help maintain control of the situation and protect Ukraine's territorial integrity.Read also
