Ukrainian border guards repelled the assault of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region
Interior Minister Igor Klimenko reported that in the Vovchansk direction of the Kharkiv region, border guards successfully repelled the assault of Russian troops. Landing from two infantry fighting vehicles, the Russians attempted to attack a position held by the fighters of the Kramatorsk border detachment. However, the Ukrainian soldiers, using aerial reconnaissance and receiving observers from neighboring positions, destroyed two Russian infantry fighting vehicles and captured two invaders. The remaining 12 assailants were eliminated by the fighters of the Kramatorsk border detachment.
We remind you that earlier Russian troops broke through to the outskirts of the city of Kupiansk, but they were eliminated.
The situation at the front remains tense, and the occupiers continue to advance near Toretsk, Kurakhove, Vuhledar, and in the area of the administrative border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
